Since coming home last year, Selli Paper has had his foot pressed down on the gas with no sign of letting up anytime soon. The New Envy artist made a big splash this past summer with his album I Shoulda Been On, one of our favorite releases of 2019. We are excited to announce one of the project’s standout tracks “No Games” as the winner of our first annual  518 Madness Challenge! For this song, Selli linked up with fellow Troy rapper Suave the Don, a longtime local star who’s profile has been on the rise following the release of his 2019 mixtape Matter of Grind and its hit song “X2.”

On “No Games,” Selli and Suave show immense chemistry, fluently exchanging braggadocious bars over a dissonant string loop and hard punching 808s provided by producer Manu. Throughout the track, the two artists go toe-to-toe, rapidly firing impressive lyrical punchlines. Perhaps the most memorable come on the hook, where Suave exclaims “I got a Wilt Chamb sitting inside the semi (hunnid round clip!)” and Selli warns: “Let a n***a talk down on my name, I pop up in his dreams like i’m Freddie.”

The track is accompanied by an alluring visual shot by emerging upstate videographer Reilly Balcom. Hosted by FCK them, a Slovenian based record label known for premiering several viral 6ix9ine music videos including “Gummo,” the video has already ran up over 50,000 views and looks to gain even more as the pair expand their respective brands with new releases. “No Games” demonstrates that both Selli and Suave truly “shoulda been on.” If for some reason you aren’t already, now is the time to get in tune.
